# Quickstart

> Connect an AI app and build your first agent from the chat.

**1. Add VoiceAIWrapper to your AI app**

Find **VoiceAIWrapper** in your app's directory and click **Connect**:

* ChatGPT: the apps directory. See [Connect ChatGPT](/documentation/mcp/connect-chatgpt.md).
* Claude: **Settings → Connectors → Browse connectors**. See [Connect Claude](/documentation/mcp/connect-claude.md).

**2. Sign in and choose an organization**

The app opens VoiceAIWrapper in your browser. Sign in (or sign up), choose the organization the AI app will work in, review what it can do, and click **Allow**. You are taken back to the chat.

**3. Check the connection**

Ask:

```text theme={null}
Which VoiceAIWrapper account am I connected as?
```

The app calls [`whoami`](/documentation/mcp/tools/account) and shows your name, email and organization.

**4. Build an agent**

Ask for what you need, for example:

```text theme={null}
Create an AI receptionist for Lakeside Dental. Our website is lakesidedental.com.
We're open Mon–Fri 8am–5pm. It should answer questions and take messages.
```

The build takes a minute or two. The app checks on it and, when it is ready, shows the agent's name, greeting, what it does and a link to it in VoiceAIWrapper.

**5. Finish setup**

Ask:

```text theme={null}
What's left to set up for this agent?
```

The app lists what is done and what is left: a phone number, credits, a web widget and, for an outbound agent, a campaign. It can connect a free number for you; the rest happens in the VoiceAIWrapper app.

> [!TIP]
>
> Try the agent before it goes live with the **Test** button on the agent's page
> in the VoiceAIWrapper app.
